Carolina Panthers\’ quarterback Jake Delhomme struggled on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and was fortunate that his running backs bailed him out. Delhomme threw for only 65 yards with two interceptions, but D\’Angelo Williams (152 yards) and Jonathan Stewart (110 yards) kept the chains moving as the Panthers won their second straight game defeating the Bucs 28-21. Tampa Bay has now lost ten straight dating back to last season and are 0-6 for the first time since\’85. The fact that they ended up starting that year 0-9 on their way to a 1-15 record doesn\’t bode well for the rest of the season. Carolina improved to 2-3 with the victory.
Green Bay Trounces Detroit
The Green Bay Packers didn\’t do a good job protecting their quarterback last Sunday, but against the lowly Detroit Lions it didn\’t really matter. Packers\’ QB Aaron Rodgers was sacked five times, but Green Bay used a big first half offensive outburst to coast to a 26-0 NFL victory over the Detroit Lions. Rodgers threw two first half touchdown passes which was complimented by four Mason Crosby field goals as Green Bay improved to 3-2 on the season. The Lions slumped to 1-5 with the loss.
Buffalo Beats Struggling Carolina
Carolina Panthers\’ quarterback Jake Delhomme is having a season he\’d like to forget, and things got even worse on Sunday at home against the Buffalo Bills. Despite dominating the Bills on the stat sheet, Delhomme threw three interceptions that allowed Buffalo to take a 20-9 victory over the struggling Panthers. Delhomme threw for 325 yards, though without any touchdowns. His three picks pushed his total for the year to- which leads the NFL.
Future Book Betting Traps And How To Avoid Them
Sports book futures bets are an increasing popular and potentially profitable way to wager on the outcome of a full season. There\’s a few common mistakes that novice players make that can be easily avoided by paying attention to the following:
Steelers End Vikings Undefeated Run
Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings are undefeated no more. The Pittsburgh Steelers’ used a couple of big plays from their defense in the fourth quarter to break open a close game and defeat the Vikings by a final score of 27-17. Favre put up decent yardage in the loss, throwing for 334 yards but had no touchdowns and an interception.
NFL pointspread players who backed the Steelers as -6 home favorites were rewarded with the cover. Pittsburgh had only covered one of their first six games heading into the contest, and the win improved their record against the number to 2-5. Minnesota dropped to 4-3 against the spread with the setback. The 44 points scored went UNDER the posted total of 46′.
Bengals Make Short Work of Bears
Former Chicago Bears running back Cedric Benson got revenge on the team that let him go in the best possible way. Benson amassed 189 yards rushing and led his new team, the Cincinnati Bengals, to a 45-10 rout over the visiting Bears on Sunday. Carson Palmer threw for five touchdowns with no interceptions in the blowout victory. Cincinnati improved to 5-2 with the win while Chicago dropped to 3-3 on the NFL season.
The Bengals also made short work of the NFL pointspread, easily covering as +1′ home underdogs. Cincinnati improved to 4-3 against the number while Chicago evened their ATS mark at 3-3.
Sports Betting Champ System Review
Today I am going to speak about a sports betting system that I have put into practice called sports betting champ. What sets this system apart from others is the fact that the maker makes money using this system.
A lot of sellers for gambling systems make their money purely from sales; none of it is generated by actual personal usage. So, if the maker can’t make any money from using their own system, what hope is there for the rest of us?
On Sports Betting Champ’s website, you will see a picture of him with his Lamborghini. The car even has “Sports Betting Champ” written across the windscreen.
Sports Betting Champ Scam Review
Today I am going to be speaking about an eBook called sports betting champ. The idea of this course is to help gambler choose the right sports bets and help them pick bets that will maximize their odds of winning.
The internet is full of gambling systems for sale and the vast majority of them are bogus. But Sports Betting Champ seems somewhat different and the creator is making a lot of money from it so there must be something good about it.
Online Roulette System Vs Online Roulette Software
Today’s article is going to be about the notion of roulette software versus roulette systems. Software developers began to create roulette systems in a software format with the idea to make things easier for players to use and people to sell in this very popular market.
An important point to remember though at this point is the fact that roulette software will only ever be as good as the system it is put into. This unfortunately is a big problem with roulette software programs. Roulette software programs all have what is called a sleeper system coded into them, which long term is a big disadvantage.
Chad Henne Steps Up for the Miami Dolphins
The Miami Dolphins are coming of one of the greatest one season turn around’s in NFL history, 1-15 in 07′, 11-5 in 08′ with a AFC East Division title. Things seem a bit different so far this year.
At the last minute, the Dolphins decided to sign Chad Pennington, a quarterback who had been released from the Jets just days before. And boy, are they happy they did.
With Chad Pennington out the rest of the season, the Dolphins season seems to be over before it really began. It’s hard to win in the NFL when you have uncertainties at the QB position.
The Indianapolis Colts; The Favorite of the AFC South
The Indianapolis Colts 2009 season started off with a close win against the Jacksonville Jaguars and a remarkable win on Monday Night Football against the Miami Dolphins, with a score of—12.
The Colts travel to Miami to face the Dolphins on Monday Night Football. The Dolphins, winners of the AFC East in 2008, opened up their season on a sour note with a loss in Atlanta to the Falcons and will look to rebound from their week 1 loss.
The Colts are favored to win this game by about 3 points, but odds aside, there are some minor concerns about the state of the Colts team entering this game.
Crimson Tide Fends Off Fiesty Vols
Alabama didn’t so much win their game against Tennessee on Saturday as much as they escaped. Despite playing one of their worst games of the year they managed to keep their undefeated season alive as nose tackle Terrance Cody blocked a potential game winning field goal on the last play of the game to preserve a 12-10 victory for the Crimson Tide. Alabama held a tenuous 12-3 lead late in the game before a Tennessee touchdown and recovered onside kick had them facing the specter of the defeat for the first time this season. Instead, Alabama improved to 8-0 while Tennessee slipped to 3-4.
Cowboys Trounce Seahawks
Quarterback Tony Romo had another solid game, and the Dallas Cowboys made short work of the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday afternoon in a 38-17 victory. Romo threw for 256 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions, and receiver Miles Austin caught a touchdown pass for the third straight game. The Cowboys improved to 5-2 with the win, while the Seahawks dropped to 2-5.
